Role:Information Technology (IT) Apprentice
Location:Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Apprentice to play an important role within the IT team. We need an enthusiastic individual who wants to develop in the IT department working towards achieving a Level 3 ICT Apprenticeship.
As part of the role you will gain experience within the department. Your role is a vital cog within the organisation and it is essential that you have strong IT skills and the ability to communicate in both a friendly and positive manner.
Key responsibilities will include:
•Assisting users in successfully resolving problems
•Liaise with third party specialists and service providers
•Assist with projects within the IT department
•Ensuring all business stakeholders are aware of different data sources
•Investigating new developments in IT systems
•Ensure all reported faults are resolved within predefined SLA’s
•Ensure that systems are optimised, maintained & remain current
•Provide a knowledge base to users
•Using the in-house helpdesk application
During your time with us you will be mentored by experienced internal professionals who will encourage you to build upon your competences and skills as well as develop your practical abilities while you are with us.

•We are looking for someone who recognises the basic principles of Information Technology and why it is important within any business
Desired qualifications
•We are looking for applicants who have a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grades C and above or equivalent, which must include Maths and English
