Packaging Technologist – Maternity Cover

Based at our UK Head Office we are currently searching for a Packaging Technologist to cover a period of maternity leave.
Responsible for the development of packaging and associated projects from initial concept to launch across all project types (NPD, Innovation, Value Engineering, Process improvement). This will involve a wide range of materials including Cartons, Plastic Films, Rigid Containers and Corrugated Cases.
You will also be responsible for coordinating factory trials and obtaining the appropriate approval documentation for all key stages of the project. Ideal candidates will have experience in packaging development and change management. You will be familiar with a range of packaging materials and development processes.
As an outgoing individual you will need to develop sound relationships with key internal departments including Technical, NPD and Factory as well as Suppliers/Customers.
