Job Title:Site Services Operator 
Location:Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire 
Hours of work:Shift work covering weekends/nights (12hr shifts)
Salary: Starting £10.80 per/hr and rising to £12.50 per/hr (dep on skills and experience) 

Reporting to the Hygiene & Site Services Supervisor, the main purpose of the role is to manage waste from the factory by organising and controlling its disposal via the use of machinery and fork lift driving. Also, to ensure the external environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness by maintaining good manufacturing standards at all times.
We are looking for people who can work outside as part of a team with specific regard for safety, quality and completion of deadlines to the highest hygiene standards. 

Reporting to the Hygiene Supervisor your role responsibilities will include:
•The sorting of waste and recycling materials produced from production.
•Ensuring that waste is segregated and stored in a safe and hygienic manner.
•Ensure all machinery is operated in a safe manner and that any damage is reported immediately.
•Optimise the recovery of recyclable waste so to minimise the amount sent with the compactor 
•Safeguard all chemicals used within Hygiene and Site services department are managed following the COSHH system. 
•Guarantee the quality and safety of hygiene and housekeeping standards are maintained 
•When necessary attend (and contribute to) “local” briefing sessions, which include the “core” brief, and the company’s key performance indicators.

This role will require the following skills:

•Basic Chemical awareness and Food Hygiene
•Fork-lift driver.

Previous experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.  

You will need to demonstrate a good attitude and willingness to learn and succeed.
