Role: HYGIENE SUPERVISOR
Location: Prospect Place, East Pimbo, Skelmersdale Lancashire, WN8 9QD
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am
Salary: Competitive
Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, your main responsibilities will be to plan, organise, coordinate and control the cleaning of processing machinery within a food manufacturing environment.
The role will involve the Supervision of the Hygiene team to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained by enforcing documented cleaning procedures, hygiene practices & operating standards to meet manufacturing / customer and legislative standards.
Other responsibilities will include site services tasks such as cooling tower sampling and water treatment monitoring as well as the training and development of your team, in the implementation of correct hygiene and cleaning procedures required to maintain company practices.
You will have previous experience of managing small teams in a manufacturing environment in the food industry and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of working under pressure. You will also have first class communication skills, be a team player, flexible, approachable, and be able to demonstrate your experience of improving the performance and abilities of teams and individuals.

Working hours Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am subject to production demands. Also, you will need to be able to work-day shift from time to time to cover holidays / attend meetings.
