We have an exceptional opportunity for a multi-skilled Engineer with relevant experience to join an outstanding and growing organization within the food industry.
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager you will be involved in fabrication / welding and electrical services work.
Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety improvement projects are carried out and repairs/maintenance conducted with the highest standards of safety.
Your role responsibilities will include:
•Working through a list of tasks that will be reviewed daily.
•Liaising with site and project engineers for help and advice with tasks.
•Ensure improvements to plant and equipment are completed as defined by the H&S maintenance risk strategy.
•Undertake assessments of malfunctioning equipment and modify/improve to ensure H&S compliance.
Our ideal Engineer will have:
•Previous experience as a Welder / Fabricator on stainless steel Tig and mild steel Mig welding
•Welding of thin walled stainless steel dairy tube and sheet metal fabrication
•An ability to work from drawings/plans and have Auto CAD skills
•Mechanically trained and proficient with workshop skills such as laith, drilling, milling.
•Knowledge of electrical systems and safety
