Job:Production Line Supervisor
Location:Froneri Skelmersdale, Prospect Place, East Pimbo, Skelmersdale Lancashire, WN8 9QD
We are currently looking to recruit a Line Supervisor for our Skelmersdale site.
As a Line Supervisor you’ll need to:
•Demonstrate strong leadership to manage a line team of up to 20 people producing a range of products requiring a number of changeovers in a fast moving production environment
•Ensure via a team of line operatives their development in all aspects of food production are adequately resourced to deliver output and quality objectives against key KPI standards of efficiency, waste, quality and performance, whilst maintaining systems and controls to ensure that quality production delivery is at the forefront of all activities.
•To maintain, progress and develop a highly motivated team of people.
•To work with Engineering colleagues to minimize downtime & maximize machine utilization.
•Pro-active approach to Health & Safety as a key focus of site and corporate strategy.
To be considered for this role you’ll need:
•Flexibility for shift working and going the extra distance to make sure the tasks are completed.
•Flexibility to cover various shifts at short notice. A dynamic person with skills to cover team positions for emergency requirements.
•Quality orientated and KPI driven.
•Focus on productivity, labour & waste.
The role will require you to harness the commitment and experience of the existing team, ensuring that your team are bought-into the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency and productivity.
