Role: Engineering stores
Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire
Salary: £20k per/annum
We are currently looking to recruit an Engineering Stores Person at our Skelmersdale site.
Working as part of the site engineering team you will ensure the availability of spare parts for the maintenance function for efficient running of all plant and machinery.
Your duties will include:
•Stock control of all spare parts in store ensuring minimum spare part quantities as per min stock levels are available.
•To Manage shire for PPMS, Stock Reporting Linked to shire, creating spare parts attached to ppms.
•Negotiating and agreeing best price with suppliers.
•Maintain Engineering stores, house-keeping.
•Stock control of spare parts, booking in booking out, ordering.
•Regular Stock taking of engineering spares stores.
•Update of engineering KPI’s, site service meter readings.
•Working with project manager/engineering manager to meet deadlines with new equipment and installations. Project administration.
•Collate and maintain service work records.
To be considered for this role experience would be preferred in the following areas:
•Stock control systems in stores or warehouse’s
•Identification of engineering parts
You must demonstrate flexibility and going the extra distance to make sure the tasks are completed. Able to demonstrate the ability to think and communicate effectively. Highly organized with a good eye for detail, along with strong administrative skills, excellent PC system skills and have an excellent telephone manner.
